Am I cold, callous & judgmental–or warm and caring?

I am in utter disbelief that such cruel and heartless methodology could have come this far as to support not only a website, but book(s).
I work in the medical field, and at one time married to an addict. I see addiction on a daily basis, and have witnessed first hand, the devastating aftermath addiction creates.
